The SPECclimate_SM benchmark was run by NCSA
(SPEC license #hpg-001a) in Urbana, Illinois on a Silicon Graphics,
Inc. (SGI) Origin 200 Server on
4-Sep-1998. This code was run using the shared programming model.
* The SPECclimate_SM metric is 86400/elapsed seconds.
Source code base was SPEChpc96.2.0.
System Configuration
Note the clock speed is slower than for the standard MIPS R10000 CPU.
Origin 2000 CPUs are 195MHz or 250MHz.
Otherwise, the R10000 processor is identical.
Disclosure Notes
Open MP is used. e.g., omp_parallel_do
The code was compiled using the R8000 make configuration.
This file was duplicated to "make.SGI_R10000".
It has not yet been tested what is the effect of -n32 or level 3 opts.
No source code changes.
Numerical output from the single and two processor cases is very close,
but not identical.
